Crossing the disciplines – a music video

My flatmates are in a band called Clean Bandit and just produced, directed, shot, made the special effects for their own music video for their latest single. On top of writing and recording all the music. All themselves. It’s so good.

I just thought this music vid was worth a post as it’s great example of the opportunities that new technology is giving people right now. This kind of cross-disciplinary product is the future, right?

Bringing Google Street View to life (or C4 get ‘urban’)

Great advert by the UK TV channel Channel 4 to promote their new foray into the ‘urban’ realm. Set on one street near Brick Lane in East London, this trailer explores the street and life within it by using a blending of Google Street View, motion video, and an incredibly fast moving camera. There are also a million cameos from the UK’s hip-hop/grime talent of the moment.
